For this plaza renovation project,
precast concrete pavers allowed
landscape architects to create a
spectacular pavement design that
celebrates Decatur’s rich culture
and history. Through contrasting
colors, finishes and relief etchings,
the pavements pay homage to
many of the area’s famous
landmarks and historic institutions.
This project was awarded Honorable Mention in the 2007 Decorative and Durable Designs Concrete Pavements Awards in the Commercial Precast Category and 1st Place in the 2008 Hardscape North America Commercial Concrete Paver 10,000-50,000 sq. ft. Category.
