This $4,000,000 streetscape transformed an inaccessible boulevard median into a vibrant new pedestrian-friendly park. Visitors now have safe access to stroll among pavilions and water features or reflect on Macon's historic past when cotton bales lined the sidewalks of this three-block section of Poplar Street.
This project was awarded 1st Place in the 2006 Georgia ACI Awards.
